How the checker works
CAD Fit Check is an independent starting point for evaluating SolidCraft. A recommendation is a suggestion for a small trial, not a guarantee that a particular model will work.
Decision rules
Project category, platform and required capabilities determine the current output. The experience selection does not yet alter the recommendation.
- Not recommended yet: production CAM or full production drawings are required. This conservative rule does not mean all related features are absent.
- Possible with limitations: format conversion, STEP/STL requirements or production-critical use require controlled validation.
- Good fit to try: remaining combinations receive a trial recommendation, not production certification.
Sources and dates
Capability snapshot reviewed October 20, 2026; this methodology published October 21, 2026. Rules are not automatically updated with upstream releases.
Limitations
First-project steps are suggested exercises, not tutorials tested end to end on every platform. Browser plus offline use and browser plus MCP may require desktop setup; the current checker does not fully resolve every conflicting requirement. Verify exact formats, hardware compatibility and exported geometry.
